We had the pleasure of attending Fáilte Ireland’s first-ever Employer Excellence Awards on April 19th. Our General Manager, Hugh Fitzgerald, proudly represented both The Hoban Hotel and PREM Group at the event alongside 12 PREM Group colleagues.
These awards aim to recognise businesses that prioritise creating fulfilling and enticing career opportunities in the hospitality industry. The winners are chosen based on Trust Index Surveys completed by employees. It’s worth noting that more than 170 tourism businesses, including hotels, participated in these surveys.
It is with great pride that we announce that both PREM Group and The Hoban Hotel won that night. We were awarded Best Employer for Ireland’s Ancient East, not just best hotel employer, but winner from all hospitality businesses. This achievement fills us with immense pride.
In addition to our own success, our parent company, PREM Group, secured the title of Best Employer in the hotel group category. We are absolutely delighted to be associated with a company that places a high value on its employees and actively works towards fostering a positive work environment. These accomplishments serve as an extra layer of pride, particularly as we recently obtained the esteemed Great Place to Work® Certification earlier this year.
