Nore Valley Park

Spending time in the great outdoors is the best way to start the spring season in Ireland. Nore Valley Park is one of the loveliest places to spend a spring afternoon with your little ones. Medieval Mile Museum

No visit to Kilkenny is complete without a trip to the Medieval Mile Museum in the converted St. Mary’s Church. It’s a great place for the whole family to learn more about the history of our ancient city and the people who helped establish it. The Medieval Mile is located in the middle of the city and the museum is in the center of the mile.

It’s an educational and interactive place for families and group tours to experience life centuries ago in the city. Students will join chefs in their funky state-of-the-art kitchen each day and learn new a main course and dessert both days, perfect to impress everyone at home. It’s a great way to encourage independence but don’t be surprised if they make a mess at home after! Two-day courses cost €140 per child.
